Catalina + Alex // NYC
There are 8 million people in New York City, but the way Catalina and Alex light up and look at each other you’d think there were only 2. The father of the groom perfectly summed it up saying, “as they pack up for this long journey all they really want, and need, is each other.” The merging of two families is always cool, but seeing them embracing each others cultures is even better. This incredible couple, and their friends and family, are the best of the best. Bright lights, full of joy, working to make the world a better place. Not to mention they are tough! I’ve filmed many pre-wedding workouts and group activities and they usually include yoga, golf, or maybe a light run. But Catalina and Alex are fighters and put the wedding party through some intense boxing drills. Despite the grueling workout everyone was still ready to dance, laugh, and celebrate the entire weekend. I have so many favorite moments from our time together but their film says it all. From wandering the streets of Greenwich Village, the High Line, downtown, to Mr. Chow, The Four Seasons, and absolutely stunning views of The Bay Room, everything was perfect. It was an honor to shoot alongside Evan Rich Photography and his team. Special thank you to Dana and everyone at Gourmet Advisory Services for planning and coordinating a truly magical event. Congratulations to an amazing team, Catalina and Alex!
