When I think about Rochella and Derek's amazing Detroit Lakes wedding the word that keeps coming to mind is "beautiful". Of course Rochella was an absolute knockout, but everything from the scenic lake views, to the love and excitement of everyone there, to the touching and hilarious toasts, and to all the details in between, they are best described as beautiful. The day was centered around the natural beauty of Detroit Lakes. Both the wedding and reception were on the water and the weather cooperated perfectly. The bright blue sky and water, against the green grass and white chairs made for an iconic ceremony right out of a movie, and the multi-colored sunset was a stunning backdrop to the reception. One of my favorite things, among many, from this wedding was Rochella's smile - she was glowing all day - and for good reason, she was getting married Derek. As detailed in the impassioned speech of the best man he is "perfect". I couldn't think of a better match! Oh, and at one point, "welcome to our crazy-ass family" was shouted. It was an epic day!
